Alex Catanese has worked with political programs both at the credit union trade group and the ICBA.
CUNA has announced that Alex Catanese has been appointed its newest director of advocacy.
What Does the Position Entail?
In that position, Catanese will manage the association’s relationships with Democrats on key issues. Prior to joining CUNA, Catanese managed the political programs of the Independent Community Bankers of America.
Previous Roles
Since joining CUNA, he has served as the associate director for political outreach and as a member of the team that has managed the trade group’s Political Action Committee, the Credit Union Legislative Action Council.
Further Background
Catanese also has been a staff member at The Normandy Group, advocating on behalf of a variety of non-profit and higher education clients. He received his Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from Miami University in Ohio and is a native of Mentor, Ohio.
