The Community Impact Fund (CIF) helps credit unions deliver meaningful financial well-being to the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households in their communities. Through CIF's turnkey Impact Loan program, credit unions provide 0% interest charitable loans that help members bridge cash flow gaps and cover emergency expenses without falling into high-interest debt. Repayment is automatic and flexible, and 10% of each payment is redirected into the borrower's emergency savings account at the credit union, building long-term financial resilience alongside short-term relief.
